Visualize Your Way to Success

In order to become a success you first need to visualize that success before it happens. So what are you focused on? You need to see images of what your life can look like in spite of what your current circumstances are.

You need to SEE something before you can HAVE something. Our mind sees in pictures not words so it's important that the images playing in our mind are taking us where want to go. One way to keep your mind focused on where you want to go is to create a vision board.

In my mastermind, one of the things I work with clients on are gaining clarity with their goals. One way of doing this is by having them create a vision board with intention.

I send them a vision board scrap book of images that contain affirmations and images that are dream focused. I also send them a blank tabletop art book with blank, black pages and a black tie ribbon where they can place the images that resonate with their dreams.

I encourage them to look at this book in the mornings and before bed while also writing their top ten goals for 30 days straight. Visualizing your goals everyday can be difficult especially if you're dealing with personal issues that are blocking your visions of what can be.

It's hard to visualize success if you've lost a job or have mounting debt. It's hard to visualize meeting and marrying the man of your dreams if you keep meeting losers and haven't had a decent date in years.

That's why visualization and faith go hand in hand. The opposite of faith is doubt. So you don't want to walk around doubting your ability to achieve success or whatever you desire in your life. Your reality is a result of what's going on in your mind.

Brain studies reveal that thoughts produce the same mental instructions as actions, when you perform or rehearse an image in your mind. It creates what scientists call a neural pattern that teaches your muscles to do exactly what you want them to do.

This is why it's important to visualize success and being that BOSS babe! I get total BOSS babe inspiration from watching reality tv shows or docuseries of female entrepreneurs who have risen from the ashes to create these incredible and wildly successful businesses.

One of my favorites is House of Ali, of Ali Budd Interiors on Hulu, and her dreamy designs. Another favorite is Galey Alix who had a short lived TV show ( she decided to not continue with the show for the time being) due to her remote FT day job on Wall Street.

I loved that she would moonlight on weekends creating these incredible interiors over a weekend for her clients in South Florida. She not only suffered from depression but she started organizing and doing interiors as an outlet to keep her mind focused.

Her passion for interior design was both therapeutic and rewarding when she saw how thrilled her clients were after she made over their interiors. She is the epitome of the entrepreneur who not only works an intense FT job, but found a way to live a life of purpose and passion with her PT gigs redesigning people's homes (although, the hours worked were grueling and probably more like cramming a FT schedule into two days on weekends).

To get you started on the path to success, I recommend you incorporate little luxuries into your life NOW so you have a taste and a sense of what life will be like for you when you have achieved financial freedom.

Take a two day weekend getaway and stay at a luxury 4 or 5 star hotel, treat yourself to a day spa package with facial and massage, get a weekly massage and join a car club like TURO so you can rent the car of your dreams for a weekend so you know what it feels like when you own that vehicle in the future, not to mention all the pics you will take to add to your vision board.

This is a powerful way to watch your dreams come to life.

I also recommend you watch your words because they can create doubt and negativity or they can position your life for something great. Your words shape your life in so many ways. So what are you saying about...
